Entrance: From the street there is an arbor then a curved walk up to the covered entrance porch. There is a locking steel screened door before the home's front door. This allows for a wonderful breeze through the front door while still providing a securely locked door.
Living Room: The living room is newly carpeted with a vaulted ceiling (all rooms in the home are vaulted giving them an air of roominess). There is a ceiling fan with lighting both up and down remotely controlled. The area is totally open and the dining room is across from the living room, making the entrance seem even larger and more roomy. A double window faces the street.
Dining Room: The dining room has a ceramic tile floor with a large double window to the back yard. The serving counter toward the kitchen has had special additional cabinets added with automatic lights, allowing easy access to storage from both the kitchen and dining room side where lights come on whenever a door is opened.
Kitchen: The kitchen sports a linoleum floor for easy care and cleaning. There are copious counters and cabinets. A Maytag dishwasher is under the counter between the GE gas stove/oven and the sink. Garbage disposal is included in the sink. Cold water to the sink is filtered for safety and taste. Water is also filtered from below to the refrigerator location for ice and refrigerator water dispensing. There is a lighted walk-in pantry just to the left of the refrigerator.
Bedrooms (2): Walking from the kitchen through the dining room/living room area, you find two bedrooms each with lighted walk-in closets. All are carpeted. Each bedroom has a window and is 133 square feet. Currently one bedroom is for guests and the other is setup as an office, which has a fan/light on the ceiling. The guest bathroom is located in this area and is a full bath.
Master Bedroom: Heading back from the guest bedrooms through the living room/dining room, you enter the master bedroom, all carpeted. The main room is 204 square feet with two windows. There is a light/fan combination above the bed. There is a large walk-in closet. The master bathroom includes double sinks, a full bathtub, a shower, and toilet.
Retreat Room: Next to the entrance of the master bedroom is access to the retreat room. The floor is oak parquet and there is a window and a fan/light combination. It's the perfect place to relax!
Utility Room: Leaving the Master Bedroom/Retreat Room then through the kitchen you arrive in the utility room and original home exit. The utility room has hookups for a washer and electric dryer. This is also the location of the heater/air conditioner and the home's gas water heater.
Indian Room: Exiting from the utility room and proceeding down the steps you enter what we call the Indian room. This is a large totally enclosed add-on porch with windows all the way on the external walls and a sliding glass door to the back yard through the 10X10 covered patio. The floor is concrete with indoor/outdoor carpet. The area is both heated and cooled with ducts to the home's heater system. Wiring is installed for a portable electric hot tub.
Western Room: Proceeding through an opening from the Indian room, you enter the western room. This room was originally the front 13 feet of the garage, but has now been finished off as a room in the home. It sports a ceramic tile floor, four full closets along one wall for extra storage, duct-work to the home's heating and air conditioning system, and full connections to the home's communication and entertainment systems, plus wiring for a surround-sound home theater entertainment system.
Garage: Exiting via a locking door from the western room, you enter the garage. It is large enough for one car the size of a Honda Accord. It has an electric garage door with two controllers and external keypad just outside the door. The garage includes built-in storage cabinets and a drop-down ladder that provides access to the attic that is over the garage and western room. The ladder may be used even with a car parked in the garage. The attic has a wood floor with over 250 square feet of storage and is lighted for easy use. In the attic is an electric attic fan with thermostat and garage mounted switch controls. This fan helps keep the garage and attic at least 15 to 20 degrees cooler in the summer than the outside temperature by moving air from underneath the home, into the garage and then out the fan exhaust. During the winter, the fan and air access grates are covered to help keep the garage warm. There is a timer in the garage that controls electrical outlets out the front of the home for Christmas decorations. There is also a 30 amp RV electric plug near the door for plugging in an RV parked temporarily in the driveway for loading. There is a window in the garage.
Outside Office: Reenter the home and exit to the back yard via the Indian room. There you find a 10X10 covered patio area. Just off the patio is a shed-like building. Upon entry, you find this is not a shed, but a complete office. The floor is carpeted, the walls are finished as a regular room, and there are built-in cabinets on one side. There is a drop-down ladder to enter the attic for access to additional storage. The office is air conditioned with a unit that is located between the office and western room. The room is completely wired for electricity (with its own power panel) and all communications, computer and entertainment systems. This room was built and designed to be both an office and computer network center and housed over 15 servers providing services to the Internet.
Back Yard: Exiting the outside office, you enter the back yard. It is totally fenced and has an automatic in-ground sprinkler system that also is located throughout the entire front and back yard. There are many trees and a large lawn yard, big enough to play bocce ball. Just off the covered patio are two decorator street lamps. Many garden plantings are included and an area has been prepared and used as a vegetable garden.
