Hi Everybody,
Another update.
Posy went to her heart doctor Thursday and he indicated that all was fine in the ticker area.
She then went to the second opinion oncologist on Friday. After much inspection and study, she felt that the cancer Posy has is probably not peritoneal/ovarian. She suspects it may be some kind of gastro/intestinal cancer (this is not her specialty and couldn't give us any more detailed information). She does agree that Posy does have adenocarcinoma of unknown origin (originally diagnosed). She also added that she felt it was a low grade and slow growing type of cancer. This is good and bad. Slow growing means that she can have a long time to fight and win. The not so good part is that chemo therapy responds in cancer at the rate that it grows. That is if it grows fast it dies fast, etc. We have several more appointments this week with her regular oncologist and more tests to see if we can determine another type of chemo (and cancer indicator) that will better deal with Posy's situation.
Let you know more soon.
Bob
